Japanese Ginger is a spreading rhizomatous perennial with vertical stems to about 1m clothes in lance-shaped leaves. This crop is native to Japan, Korea, and China. Japanese Ginger is widely used as a topping for salads.

Green Space JinMIX coir grow plank can be used to grow Japanese Ginger in buckets or containers without using plastic grow bags. Hydroponic Japanese Ginger growers who use JinMIX coir grow plank for their Japanese Ginger have experienced roots of their plants that were steadily spread throughout the bag, more accelerated root growth, and healthier plants. This will result in a more significant number of blooms and a higher yield of Japanese Ginger year-round. Selected raw materials are blended and compressed to make these naked slabs for the required size.

After placing the planks and putting water in the container, young Japanese Ginger plants can be in equal spacing to the medium.
