Eggplant or brinjal is a versatile crop adapted to different agro-climatic regions in tropical and sub-tropical countries. Even though eggplant is a perennial crop, in commercial farming it is considered an annual crop. Since brinjal is a warm-season crop, it is highly susceptible to severe frost. Also, low temperatures during the cool season may cause the deformation of fruits. Recently commercial brinjal growers are interested in growing eggplant inside greenhouses to provide long and warm growing conditions to facilitate all the physiological activities of eggplant crops even in cooler climates. Hydroponic substrates are promising solutions for commercial growers who are seeking advanced solutions for greenhouse farming.

They are made from 100% natural coconut husk chips and coconut pith and packed in UV-treated printed milky bags. They are an excellent eco-friendly ideal growing medium for Eggplant cultivation in limited space. Also, Easy to handle and an excellent replacement for pots. After adding the water to the coir and getting it hydrated inside, the bag will be ready for planting. The planter bag gives multiple crop cycles. The medium used for growing does not require replacement with new crops since it’s done with our coir substrates.
