The blocks are made from natural coconut husk chips blended in specific ratios of 1S, 2S, and 3S materials particular to the crop grown. It needs to be wet to expand before adding any nutrients or fertilizers. Tender Orchid / Bromeliad plants can be planted directly into the expanded mixture.
