150L Coco Peat Loose Bag
Coco peat, also known as Coco coir fiber pith, is a spongy, lightweight substance that results during the process of extracting coir fiber from the outer husk of the Coconut (Cocos nucifera) and widely origins from Southeast Asian territories including Sri Lanka.
The following qualities make Coco peat one of the most ideal bedding substrates for terrariums and vivariums and it plays a vital role in the pet supplies market.
- 100% natural and sustainable
- Absorbs odor and excess moisture.
- Controls and maintains humidity.
- Fungi (mold) resistance
- Helps the germination and propagation of live plants in terrariums.
These characteristics create a friendly atmosphere for amphibians like toads, frogs, and salamanders and also for reptiles like lizards, geckos, and ball pythons. Already added substrate layer can be used for quite a period (03 months) as it lasts longer, maintaining cleanliness by absorbing the dirt. When it’s due to remove the layer of waste coco peat, it can be used as compost for plants.
Coco peat substrate is released to the market herein measured as 150L and packed in loose form in a polythene bag. Green Space Terra Craft guarantees its expansion as mentioned in the specification and is fine dust free and also the best substitute for peat moss.
